The line of succession to the British throne

The line of succession to the throne of King Charles has already changed since his accession in September 2022.

His Majesty was the longest serving heir to the throne in recorded history, holding the position for over seventy years. Now, the line to what is his throne is the longest in the world with thousands in it, including monarchs of other nations. The path to the throne of King Charles III contains many names but the main focus falls on the few dozen most closely related to the monarch.
