The Crown has been recognised by Hollywood royalty with several notable nominations for the 2024 Golden Globes.

The hit Netflix drama focusing on the modern House of Windsor received four Golden Globe nominations. The show has been nominated for Best Television Series, Drama, a substantial achievement on its own.

Several individual actors have also been nominated for Golden Globes. Imelda Staunton has been recognised for her portrayal of the late Queen Elizabeth II with a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama.

Dominic West, portraying Charles, then Prince of Wales, is nominated for Best Actor in a Television Drama, while Elizabeth Debicki has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Television, Drama as a nod to her work as the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Since the show first premiered in 2016, it has won seven Golden Globe awards including Best Television Series, Drama in both 2017 and 2021.

The first four episodes of the sixth and final season of The Crown were released on Netflix in mid-November and focused on the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. The final six episodes will be released on 14 December 2023.
