Prince George makes it into GQ’s best dressed list with Prince Charles

Not even 18 months old and Prince George of Cambridge has made it into GQ magazine’s best dressed list, along with his father, The Duke of Cambridge and grandfather, The Prince of Wales. Prince George photos released

The top spots went to actors Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch, but Prince Charles made it in seventh place, thanks to the panel of industry experts and magazine staff.

GQ have said of Charles: “Prince Charles looks good in a suit, and it’s him that tells the suit who’s boss, not the other way around.

“We love the way that he gives life and personality to his clothes.”

George was put at 49th place – not bad for a toddler who can’t dress himself yet, eh? Prince William did not feature in this year’s list, but in 2013 was voted 37th best dressed.

The style trait must run in the family, with The Duchess of Cambridge being voted ‘most stylish woman’ in December.

The magazine said of the toddler: “Already following in the footsteps of his great-great-great-uncle, Edward VIII, and his grandfather, The Prince of Wales, Prince George looks set to become the UK’s best-dressed man.”

Edward VIII was known in America as the ‘arbiter of men’s fashions’, and often wore ‘country-wear’ in London, including tweed.

Here are the top 10 (position last year):

2. Benedict Cumberbatch (3)
3. Jamie Dornan (new entry)
4. Alex Turner (8)
