Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden’s dog Siri found safe

Earlier this week, a few members of the Swedish Royal Family went through a concerning incident, which had a fairytale ending. A few days ago, it was announced that Prince Carl Philip and Prince Sofia’s dog, Siri had gone missing. Royal watchers are undoubtedly familiar with the dog, who has even been in official pictures released by the Swedish Royal Family.

With the help from The Royal Norrmalm Police Station, the royal couple were reunited with Siri. The police station released a photo of Siri, along with an image of the couple coming to retrieve their dog. Siri’s journey was detailed by police who said, “Siri was drowsy and tired after her unknown despair during the day. Our colleague from Turlag 7 had to carry Siri out to the police bus, where she quickly fell asleep in her safe arms.”

The royal pair looked delighted to have been reunited with Siri. Though Siri might have been a wee bit drowsy from his expeditions, he’s undoubtedly overwhelmed and excited to be home. As they posed for a photo with a police officer, Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip looked like any other ordinary couple. Sofia was dressed down in a pair of jeans with a loose blouse, while Carl Philip wore a shirt and trousers.

Siri isn’t the only dog getting the royal treatment. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge added dog Lupo to the family around the time Prince George was born. The recently married couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, recently added a black Labrador named Oz to their family, as well. The Duchess of Sussex is known to be a dog lover and had two rescue dogs of her own before marrying Harry. These royal dogs join a long of list privileged pups who get to call the royal palaces of Europe their home.
