The Crown Princess Family of Sweden has taken to the slopes in a new Instagram video.
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar are seen in a video on the Royal Family’s official Instagram account skiing in the mountains over the Epiphany weekend.
Six-year-old Princess Estelle is proving to be a little pro on the skiis, and her two-year-old little brother appears to be following in her footsteps. It is not known where on holiday the royals are, but in the past, they have visited the alpine ski resort of Breuil-Cervinia.
In 2014, Crown Princess Victoria ended up on crutches after injuring her left leg while skiing.
It is common in Sweden for the Swedish Royal Family to release several videos and images each year of their children to combat paparazzi photos. For the most part in Sweden, the Royal Family is left alone in their private lives by photographers.
Princess Estelle was born on 23 February 2012 in Solna, Sweden, and she will celebrate her seventh birthday next month. Prince Oscar (b. 2016) will turn three on 2 March.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are big proponents of exercise and created Generation Pep to encourage children to get out and move instead of always sitting inside watching television or playing video games.
As a result, the Crown Princess has been taking landscape hikes throughout Sweden to encourage people to move and visit various areas of Sweden.
The Crown Princess Family aren’t the only royal members to share photos or videos of their children on the slopes. Just last year, Princess Charlene of Monaco shared several images and a video of her daughter, Princess Gabriella skiing for the very first time. Adorably, Gabriella’s skis featured a Disney princess and queen – Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle from the 2013 worldwide box office success cartoon, Frozen.
