Ingrid Alexandra will be the first reigning Queen of Norway since the late fourteenth century when Queen Margaret I reigned.
The princess looked at ease despite the importance of the event, smiling and chatting with the waiting crowds in the sun.Â
Her Royal Highness also followed in a common royal tradition- dipping into mum’s closet. She borrowed one of Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s coat dresses, a white A-line piece from Brock Collection.Â

Both Ingrid-Alexandra and Mette-Marit went with a structured look for the welcome, with the Crown Princess choosing a black blazer dress from Christian Dior.Â
Princess Ingrid Alexandra will also have another major first as the visit continues when she attends her first State Dinner.Â
