
The King of Norway has handed over his day’s engagements to the heir to the throne after becoming poorly with a cold.
King Harald was due to meet ministers and hold a series of audiences on November 25th 2022 but had to step back at the last minute after feeling unwell.
Crown Prince Haakon, just back from a trip to Kenya, has instead taken on the duties.
The Royal Court issued a brief statement saying King Harald was suffering a cold and that the Crown Prince Regent would instead oversee the engagements.
King Harald had attended the funeral of famous actor, Toralv Maurstad, on November 24th 2022 at Oslo Cathedral.
Earlier in the year, the King of Norway was treated in hospital for an infection.
