The Dutch Royal Family has held one of their annual photo sessions.
They invited the media to Noordeinde Palace, where they posed for photos and answered questions.
King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, the Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane attended the session after Alexia returned from school in Wales.

The media was very interested in 18-year-old Princess Amalia’s plans as she enters university this autumn with the heir to the throne, revealing she is unsure of what associations she will join while at university.
The Princess of Orange will attend the University of Amsterdam and study for a bachelor’s degree in politics, psychology, law and economics. She will live with fellow students come September.
King Willem-Alexander revealed during the photo session that he was the one who suggested Amalia’s course of study.

This was the first year that Princess Amalia took part in the press interview after the photo session as it has usually just been the King and Queen, but now that Amalia is of age, she is undertaking more duties and speaking to the press more.
