Princess Charlene shares candid snaps of her twins on Instagram

Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco rarely shares personal photos on her official Instagram. Instead, it is usually images posted by the Palace of Monaco regarding events she attends and causes close to her heart.

Over the past few days, Charlene appears to have taken to her Instagram account herself to post several candid images of her soon to be three-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques. Following in the footsteps of many royals before her, she was the photographer behind the lens.

The first snap she posted was on Saturday, 11 November; it featured young Prince Jacques behind the wheel of a police boat. She captioned it, “HSH Prince Jacques enjoying being aboard the Maritime Police Boat in Monaco this morning.”

Just yesterday, she posted three images of Jacques and his older sister (by two minutes) Princess Gabriella after they received their first haircuts. In one adorable photo, the twins are seen giving each other a sweet hug.

It remains to be seen if the Princess will follow the lead of the likes of Princess Madeleine of Sweden who regularly posts private family photos to her official Facebook account.

Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques are expected to join their parents on Sunday for The Sovereign Prince’s Day, which is held annually on 19 November. They will celebrate their third birthday on 10 December.

Last year, they celebrated their birthday with a safari-themed party attended by friends from preschool. The Prince’s Palace shared several snaps from the day on their official Facebook account.
