Prince Louis of Luxembourg and Tessy Antony-de Nassau prove divorced couples can still be friends

Prince Louis of Luxembourg and his ex-wife, Tessy Antony-de Nassau (formerly Princess Tessy of Luxembourg) may be divorced, but they remain the best of friends.

Just a couple of days ago, Tessy shared two images on her Instagram account from weekend celebrations for her and Louis’s younger son, Prince Noah’s birthday. She said, “Family weekends are the best,” with two heart emojis, and the hashtags included #myfamily and #bestfriends.

The former couple announced their separation in January 2017, and their divorce was finalised on 4 April 2019.

Even throughout their separation, Tessy posted photos alongside Louis as they were spending quality time with Gabriel and Noah.

After their divorce, they remain a united front in raising their boys. They remain close friends, and their excellent relationship is an example to all divorced couples – especially those with children – that they can remain good friends even after ending their marriage. Their closeness is reflected in Gabriel and Noah who are two well-rounded and happy young boys.

Prince Louis is the third child of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg. He married Tessy Antony in September 2006. They have two sons: Prince Gabriel (b. 2006) and Prince Noah (b. 2007).
