Gallery: Luxembourg’s Prince Charles celebrates first Bretzelsonndeg

Luxembourg’s Prince Charles has celebrated his first Bretzelsonndeg, and the Grand Ducal Court has shared several images of the little heir with his parents, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, at Fischbach Castle to mark the occasion.

Prince Charles, 10 months, is seen discovering a pretzel for the first time in the images released by the Grand Ducal Court as he shows off his bottom and top teeth that are beginning to come in.

The celebration of Bretzelsonndeg (Pretzel Sunday) is a long Luxembourgish tradition that takes place mid-Lent and occurred on 14 March this year.

Prince Charles is second in line to the Luxembourgish throne and will celebrate his first birthday on 10 May.
