January:

February:

The Norwegian royals welcomed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Oslo.

It was announced Princess Mako of Japan’s wedding was to be postponed due to lack of preparation.

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark returned from the Winter Olympics in South Korea to be at his father, Prince Henrik’s hospital bedside.

The Belgian Royal Family released images from holiday.

Tragically, Prince Henrik of Denmark died at the age of 83, and his private funeral was held later in the month.

Hereditary Prince Ernst August of Hanover and his wife, Hereditary Princess Ekaterina of Hanover had their first child, a girl.

King Mohammed of Morocco underwent successful heart surgery in Paris.
