Behind the Scenes with True Royalty

Prepare for new series of The Crown with True Royalty TV

The newest series of The Crown is set to premiere on Netflix next month, and this series will have a heavy focus on Charles and Diana. To prepare you for the upcoming series, True Royalty TV has an array of documentaries ready at your fingertips.

These programmes will focus on the topics covered in the upcoming series four. These include a special Diana focus with Royal View Power of a Princess, Diana: People’s Princess, Her Life in Jewels, A Royal Tour. 80’s and 90’s and Diana: Behind Palace Walls. Go from the beginning of the late Princess of Wales’s time in the Royal Family to the breakdown of the royal fairytale.

Royal View Power of a Princess cannot be found anywhere else other than True Royalty. It focuses on Diana, The Queen and the Duchess of Sussex and how the women have changed the monarchy. True Royalty explains about the lively talk show: “All three have left an indelible mark as they seized the opportunity to use their royal titles to better the world.”

As series four is heavily focused on Charles and Diana, you are probably wondering if there are any programmes centred on the Prince of Wales, and the answer is yes! Highgrove: Prince Charles at Home is a wonderful feature interview with the royal himself at his country home of Highgrove.

“In a remarkably informal and candid interview, the Prince of Wales takes us on a private tour of his beloved gardens and house at Highgrove, his own personal retreat – and the home in which his sons grew up,” True Royalty explains.

A focus on the breakdown of the marriages of not only Charles and Diana but also Prince Andrew and Fergie is available in Broken Vows. Were the wives to blame for the breakdown of the marriages? Or does the blame rest with the royal men and institution? Find out in the programme!

There’s also drama in the Royal Inquest series with one episode that focuses on the attempted kidnapping of the Princess Royal in 1974 as she and her husband, Mark Phillips, were on their way back to Buckingham Palace. Royal Inquest: A Hunted Royal will not disappoint as the documentary focuses on the crime that shocked Britain and will get attention on The Crown.

If you want to get away from areas focused on the upcoming series, then fret no more. True Royalty also provides programmes on the much-loved Wessexes. Learn more about the romance of the Earl and Countess of Wessex in Prince Edward & Sophie Rhys-Jones and how Sophie has been modern and just what the Royal Family needs in Sophie, Countess of Wessex: The Joy and Sadness.
