Behind the Scenes with True Royalty

Marie Antionette, Queen Victoria and Prince Harry get the focus on the latest Royal Beat

Now airing on True Royalty’s exclusive talk show “The Royal Beat” is an episode focusing on Prince Harry’s latest interview on his upbringing and a dive into the lives of two famous royal women – Marie Antionette and Queen Victoria.

Royal Commentators Robert Jobson – of Good Morning America – and Katie Nicholl – of Vanity Fair – discuss Harry’s latest comments on his childhood, how he was raised by the Prince of Wales, and how the Prince of Wales was raised by The Queen and Prince Philip.

Both were critical of the Prince’s comments, with Jobson remarking: “I thought it was pathetic actually. I know it is Mental Health Week, and mental health is a very important subject, but the amount of time he has gone on – and not reflecting necessarily about himself … He was hell-bent on blaming everyone else for his problems and mainly his father. He attacked his father, then he attacked his grandmother and shamefully his grandfather, who has just been buried.

“I understand why Harry has to make a living but does he have to make a living continuously whining on about his family and the woes he believes [they’ve inflicted] upon him? …The whole thing is a money-making exercise. Why should somebody who is cut off at 36 suddenly be coming out with all these TV shows and these things? Because he and his wife and his agents have worked out that they can make multi-millions of dollars.”

Nicholl echoed Jobson’s comments saying: “I think it is worth making the point as well, that how much more of an appetite is there going to be for them talking about this subject? How much more can you wring out of it? I just feel people, even in America where they seem to hang on every word this couple say, [will say] ‘we have heard enough, you have to change your tune now’.”
