Behind the Scenes with True Royalty

Latest Royal Beats filmed from Kensington Palace

The latest two Royal Beats from True Royalty have been filmed directly from Kensington Palace in Queen Victoria’s Bedroom.

The first of the two shows is already live on the streaming service and is free to watch. The next Royal Beat will premiere on 21 August. True Royalty was given exclusive access to Kensington Palace after the palace’s doors reopened to the public following the COVID-19 shutdown.

The first episode, which is now available, discusses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the new tell-all book Finding Freedom that is due to be released soon. Royal reporters Russell Myers and Roya Nikkhah give their insight into if there is any further information revealed in the book and the latest news on Harry and Meghan.

The show is hosted by Kate Thornton, who also talks to curator Claudia Acott Williams about the late Diana, Princess of Wales’s famous Travolta dress which is on display at Kensington Palace. Thornton also speaks to Chief Executive of The Diana Award, Tessy Ojo during the 44-minute programme.

The programme due to debut on 21 August will be a special edition and focus on Princess Margaret who was born on that day in 1930. This year would have been her 90th birthday. It’s a show you don’t want to miss!
