Photos: Bhutan’s Prince Ugyen Wangchuck celebrates first birthday

Bhutan’s Prince Ugyen Wangchuck celebrated his first birthday yesterday, and a series of photos were released to mark the occasion by the Royal House.

Seven new photos were released that were taken in the gardens of Lingkana Palace in the Bhutanese capital of Thimphu. Lingkana Palace is the main residence of the King of Bhutan.

Prince Ugyen Wangchuck was born on 19 March 2020 in Lingkana Palace to King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema. His older brother is Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel, who turned five, in February.
