Kensington Palace has taken the unusual step of announcing when the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her third child.
Although an exact date hasn’t been revealed, the Palace has announced that the baby is due in April.
Because the royal household has said that the Duchess is due to give birth in April with certainty, it is assumed that royal baby number three will be making his or her appearance in the world in the middle of the month.
Today’s news means that Catherine has had her twelve-week scan. It has not been stated where she will be giving birth.
Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte were delivered at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital. It is likely that Their Royal Highnesses will choose the same location this time around.
When it came to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, a due date was not announced in advance. This led to journalists being camped outside of the Lindo Wing for days – or even weeks back in 2013.
The new baby will become 5th-in-line to the throne, pushing Prince Harry back further in the line of succession.
Since early September, the Duchess has been suffering from acute morning sickness – hyperemesis gravidarum.
As a result of the illness, the Duchess has had to cancel all of her recent engagements and made her first public appearance a few days ago at a mental health event held at Buckingham Palace.
Hyperemesis gravidarum affects approximately 1% of women during pregnancy which can cause vomiting up to 60 times a day.
Catherine suffered from the same sickness when she was pregnant with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and was forced to announce her pregnancies early on those occasions also.
Er, no. We were told the due month for both George and Charlotte.
George was a bit late. William said so himself, if I’m remembering correctly.
Since Charlotte was actually born in May (we were told she was due in April), we know that Charlotte was a little late, too.
The media camped out in front of the Lindo Wing from early July 2013 because only the due month was known. It was a bit over the top, so when Charlotte was about to be born, the media was restricted to the last couple weeks of April, but this got extended into the first week of May, which is when Charlotte was actually born.
You guys need to do better fact-checking.
Who is “you guys”?
The editorial staff of this website. Whoever goes over articles before they’re posted. I don’t know how this site operates, but there needs to be some kind of oversight, surely?
It’s because Waity has a habit of nailing the odd guy you know. Like Ben, or the milkman…anyone. It’s hard to figure out the due date.
She’s a tough cookie to go through that 3 times.
Go through what ? Wearing a prosthetic tummy ? Or rather a series of them ? You don’t believe the “HG” B.S. do you ?
Excellent! I’ve jotted that down in my 2015 Lett’s Diary with matching pencil.
So this time she will be early and the kid will be born in March. Who knows, it has been said baby’s will come when they are ready.
When the surrogate is ready.
LOL
More lies. Waity never had “HG”. Women who suffer with that for real become so terribly ill. Often hospitalized. In the past when “pregnant” {surrogate…ahem}, Waity went on vacations,{by plane},to parties and so on.
