“There’s a very deep bond” between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

It will go down as one of the top moments in 2017, as Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle walked hand-in-hand into the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

Most of the world had to watch from behind their computer screens, but for the Royal photographers and media in London, they got to experience the history-making moment in person.

Royal Photographer of 10 years, Samir Hussein was part of the “whirlwind of excitement” Monday afternoon and spoke to Royal Central about photo call.

“We’d only been told of the photo call with Harry and Meghan a few hours before,” Samir recalled, “it was a whirlwind of excitement.”

Continuing, he said: “The Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace was an ideal spot to do the photos…the rain even held off.

“Harry and Meghan looked really in love- you can instantly tell there’s a very deep bond between them.”

The announcement came from Clarence House at 10 am BST that the happy couple is to wed.

Within minutes, the world had turned their heads to watch the newly engaged couple. Appearing in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, Meghan was dressed in a white coat by The Line, a Canadian label. The couple answered a few questions and Meghan showed off her ring.

Prince Harry was very hands-on with the design which he created together with Cleave & Company. The gold ring features a diamond from Botswana, flanked by two smaller stones out of Harry’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales’s personal collection.

The loved-up couple then pre-recorded an interview that was aired Monday evening where they discussed everything from Meghan meeting The Queen to who she described as “incredible”, to how Harry proposed.

While on a date night in while making roast chicken, Prince Harry popped the question getting down on one knee.

Meghan beamed as she said she could hardly let him finished before answering!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have found their happy ending, and Samir Hussein appears to agree: “[I] loved how they looked so happy together.”

Further details on the Spring 2018 wedding are expected on Tuesday.
