First photos of Baby Sussex on Wednesday

The new seventh in line to the throne will make his public debut on Wednesday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will pose for photos with their newborn son then at their home at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor.

The baby boy was born at 5.26am on May 6th 2019 and weighed 7lbs 3oz. He is seventh in line to the throne. The Duke of Sussex spoke to the media soon after the confirmation of his son’s safe arrival and said that no decision had yet been taken on a name for the baby who will have the courtesy title of Earl of Dumbarton.

Meghan went into labour in the early hours of Monday morning with Buckingham Palace revealing that news around 2pm the same day. Less than an hour later came confirmation that Baby Sussex had been born.

The little boy, who is a fourth grandchild for the Prince of Wales and an eighth great grandchild for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, is at home at Frogmore Cottage with his mother. Looking after both of them is Doria Ragland. Meghan’s mum is said to be ”overjoyed” at the arrival of her first grandchild.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting a baby in October. Their son has been born just under two weeks before their first wedding anniversary.
