Duchess of Sussex appears in flashback scenes for trailer for Suits final season

Although she left Suits at the end of season seven, the Duchess of Sussex has appeared in the trailer for the final season of the hit USA Network series.

Now, the Duchess doesn’t appear in any new scenes for the ninth and final season, but she appears at the beginning of the trailer in flashbacks from some of the most popular and favourite moments throughout the run of the series.

We see the first meeting of Meghan’s character “Rachel” and her future onscreen husband “Mike” (played by Patrick J. Adams) in season one. We also see Mike revealing he was a fraud to Rachel – who then smacks him – and Mike proposing to Rachel.

Previews for the final season occur after the flashbacks.

The final season will have ten episodes and begin airing on 17 July 2019 in the United States on the USA Network at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Meghan’s onscreen love and co-star Patrick J. Adams left the series at the same time as the Duchess. However, he revealed on Instagram that he would be returning for the last season. It’s not known how or if Meghan’s absence will be explained.

Earlier this year, rumours swirled that Suits was wanting Meghan back for one final episode and would be giving millions to charity as a result. However, the stories proved to be false when the creator of the series saying he hadn’t offered millions for the Duchess to return and that they hadn’t decided who was coming back.

The Duchess of Sussex’s final episode aired in April 2018 – just a few weeks before she wed Prince Harry in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on 19 May 2018. They announced that they were expecting their first child in October 2018 ahead of their Oceania tour.

The Duchess gave birth to a son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on 6 May 2019 at Portland Hospital in London.

The family of three now lives at Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
