Princess Eugenie to remain in New York as she wins permanent position

<![CDATA[Princess Eugenie has landed a permanent position at her online auction house in New York.
The 23-year-old has been offered the position of 'benefits auction manager' at Paddle8 after impressing bosses on her three-month-placement, which she started in September.
"Eugenie has been a big success and they wanted her to stay", a friend told the Mail on Sunday. “She’ll now be there until at least September.”

While a spokesman for Paddle8 confirmed the Princess is to stay: “I can confirm that Eugenie will continue to work in New York.”
Eugenie, the second daughter of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, moved to New York in September to start her placement at Paddle8.
The Princess, who only carries out only a few royal engagements, was soon spotted enjoying the perks of working in the city as she enjoyed lunches near her office and attending a basketball game.
Parents Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have both visited Eugenie, and her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank makes regular trips to visit his girlfriend.
The pair who have dated for three years are said to be as close as ever despite the distance.
“Eugenie is loving New York. The hardest thing has been leaving Jack behind, but he told her she had to take the job,” a source revealed.
Eugenie returned from New York to join the Royal Family for Christmas at Sandringham and the Princess waved to well-wishers as the royals attended the annual Christmas Day service.
The seventh-in-line only takes part in a few engagements each year and has no working royal role. It is expected Eugenie will next officially be seen in the UK in June for the annual Trooping the Colour.
