Kensington Palace said the Prince and Princess were “pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George ahead of his tenth birthday.”

The future king strongly resembles his father, posed on steps in a checked shirt, chinos and brown suede shoes.

Prince George attends Lambrook in Berkshire alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).

He’s said to be following in the footsteps of his athletic mum and dad. He excels at swimming and sailing and played on his school’s cricket team this year.

George has been seen in the public eye more over the past few years, especially with the Late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral last year and King Charles III’s Coronation this year.
