New photos released of the Cambridge family on skiing holiday

New photos have been released by Kensington Palace showing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, alongside their two children, on a skiing holiday in the Alps.

The trip was the first time the family of four had been on holiday together and to mark the occasion, the Cambridges have released a series photos.

The family of four arrived in the Alps on Wednesday night. It was Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first experience of playing in the snow.

In the photos, the Cambridges are wrapped up warm in thick ski jackets and ski goggles. A couple of the pictures show William and Kate in a playful mood throwing snow at each other.

Charlotte can be seen to be growing a set of teeth and has grown lots since we last saw her last year.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow.

“It was very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well. The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos.”
