The parenting author who got the Duchess of Cambridge to open up about being a mum has taken the title on one of the UK’s most popular reality shows. Giovanna Fletcher, who interviewed Kate on her podcast ”Happy Mum, Happy Baby” earlier this ear, was crowned ”Queen of the Castle” as this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here came to an end.
The ITV1 show usually takes place in the Australian jungle but the coronavirus pandemic meant that the three weeks of trials and tribulations were transferred to a castle in north Wales. Giovanna Fletcher beat off competition from TV host, Vernon Kay, and BBC Radio 1 presenter, Jordan North, to win this year’s contest which is decided by public vote.
In February 2020, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared on an episode of Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast where they discussed life in the Cambridge family. Kate revealed the importance of being out and about with her three children and revealed the inspiration she took from her granny when it comes to bringing up Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Duchess also spoke about her ‘5 Big Questions’ survey on early years which she had just launched. In the past weeks, Kate has revealed the findings of that research and revealed that many future projects in her work around early years development will come from the results.
