New portrait released of Duchess of Cornwall as she marks 75th birthday

A new photo of the Duchess of Cornwall has been released by Clarence House to mark Her Royal Highness’s 75th birthday.

The image was taken in June at her home in Raymill, Wiltshire, by Chris Jackson. Camilla, in a blue floral dress by Sophie Dundas, is seen sitting with a cup of tea in front of a bowl of peaches that were grown in her garden.

The Duchess of Cornwall turns 75 today. She has previously said she would spend the day privately with family and friends. No large celebrations are planned.

Her Royal Highness had a busy week leading up to her special day with celebrations at her patronage Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for their 160th anniversary and the airing of an ITV special on the Duchess’s Country Life Magazine cover and guest edit.

For the magazine special, Camilla had the Duchess of Cambridge take her photos that were published in Country Life.

The Duchess of Cornwall was a guest editor for Country Life, and it went on sale on 13 July.

Ahead of her 75th birthday, Oldie Magazine and Gyles Brandreth hosted a special lunch for the Duchess, which also honoured those people who continue to serve others while in their 70s, 80s, and 90s.
