Duchess of Cornwall forced to cancel engagement due to illness

The Duchess of Cornwall has been forced to cancel an engagement in London due to illness.

Camilla was due to attend a dinner at the London Library on Wednesday evening, however, a cold she has been suffering from has worsened.

Her Royal Highness, as Vice-Patron of the London Library, was to attend the gala dinner marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Prince Albert, the first Royal Patron of the Library.

Royal Correspondent Rebecca English tweeted: “I understand she (Camilla) has been advised to rest as she is still suffering from a cold. When I was with her last week, she could barely talk.”

Tomorrow, the Duchess is due to visit the Field of Remembrance with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It is unclear whether her cold will have cleared up by then.
