A severe storm rocked Sydney only a few hours before the opening ceremony of the 2018 Invictus Games was due to take place.
The ceremony was planned for outside the Sydney Opera House, but the storm that quickly moved in with a combination of hail, heavy rainfall, high winds and lightning caused the event to be delayed.
It is the same system that hit the drought-affected areas days before, including Dubbo when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got poured on.

The town of Coonamble reported over 26mm of rain from the storm.
The Duke and Duchess are in Australia for the 4th Invictus Games as well as their tour.
Prince Harry officially started the games on Friday when he climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Invictus competitors to raise the Invictus flag.
Saturday started off with beautiful weather as the Duke and Duchess unveiled the new ANZAC memorial before heading to Cockatoo Island for the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge.
Sunday morning the Duke and Duchess will be taking in some cycling and sailing for a day that promises to be better weather-wise.
