On Wednesday afternoon, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the Youth Forum at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings to see the progress they have made over the last few days.
After being named an Ambassador of the group by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry officially opened the forum on Monday.
During his opening speech, Prince Harry said he was “grateful” for his wife-to-be,and she is “hugely excited” to be joining him in his work with the Commonwealth.
He encouraged the youth that together they will “lead the worlds response to climate change” and that they “must do more to move there dial”.
On climate change, Prince Harry noted that it is “something my father has believed for years yet society still struggles with.”
He pledged to “try and keep up” to the ambitious group and will “convene youth leaders across the Commonwealth” as he travels.
The Commonwealth Youth Forum gives youth the platform to be able to influence change in their communities and across the world.
The couple arrived to cheers outside the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, where Meghan was dressed in a Altuzarra dress and Camilla and Marc blazer. They arrived just after Princess Eugenie.
During the reception, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the chance to speak with LGBT Commonwealth Youth Leaders as well as other inspirational young people.
They spoke about making the Commonwealth a more sustainable, equal and successful place.
Tomorrow, Harry and Meghan will take part in a reception being hosted by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Women’s Empowerment where he will launch a new platform for education.
Then on Saturday, the couple will be welcomed at an event held by Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull to celebrate the 2018 Invictus Games which are being held in Sydney this October.
