Prince Harry is currently undergoing a two-week tour on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen in the Caribbean. Back in September, his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also undertook a tour of Canada, bringing along their two young children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, however, many are crying foul when it comes to the way that Kensington Palace is managing Prince Harry’s tour over the Cambridges’.
Royal watchers and fans alike have taken to Twitter upset that Prince William and Kate got way more coverage. Kelly Mathews of @allthingsregal on Twitter decided to get to the bottom of this and did some research into the matter, looking at Prince Harry’s first four days in the Caribbean compared to the first four days the Cambridges’ tour in Canada. Her finding are as follows:

So the numbers are there, then why are many noticing the far less talk about Prince Harry’s tour? That fault would seem to be with the rest of us, as the retweets on Prince Harry’s tour are far less than his brother, therefore the tweets don’t seem to take over your Twitter feed.
Kelly Mathews found that the most likes Prince Harry has received is 299 and retweets coming in at 1607. That is compared to the most likes from Royal Tour Canada in the first four days being 1939 and retweets at 7485.
Were Prince George and Princess Charlotte that much of an added bonus to the Canadian tour? Any picture of the children gained anywhere between 4000-7000. The Duchess of Cambridge in new outfits were also a big boost.
Maybe Prince Harry realised this and that spurred his impromptu stop in St Kitts to a preschool in the pouring rain? The star factor of cute children! That or his generous heart.
That is just so silly. Some fans will complain about anything and everything. They don’t understand that monarchy is not a race.
The fact that this has been written and argued about at all says more about the coverage of this tour than it does about KP. If this tour was being followed by royal fans as much as the Canada one, a “story” like this wouldn’t have to be created from the tweets of a few bitter Harry fans. They are all popular royals, but lets face it, until Harry gets married, the demand for Harry dancing with children pictures arent going to get anywhere near as much attention as the Cambridge family on tour.
His Caribbean tour was highlighted by his taking a second HIV test in a month alongside Rihanna, and on her invitation, he stayed overnight at her house. Unfortunately the locals made a story of that,and that “he is not our Prince” was headlined by the Press.
