What has traditionally been a private event, the Royal Family
made the rare move to release photos from inside the annual

In the past, the only glimpse of what the members of the Royal Family were wearing to the Diplomatic Corps reception was from the car arrivals. Leaving most of the outfit to the imagination.
All three royal ladies were on the page in shades of white, embellished with beading and crystals.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a bespoke Jenny Packham
off-white gown with silver crystals, and slightly off-shoulder cap
sleeves. She completed her outfit with the Cambridge Lover’s Knot
tiara and pearl earrings.

Her Majesty wore a dress by Angela Kelly and one of her favourite
tiaras, the Queen Mary Girls of Great Britain and Ireland. Finished
with a gold purse.

The Duchess of Cornwall also stuck with what she knows in
the Boucheron tiara, a Bruce Oldfield dress, pearl choker and
pearl earrings.

It was a busy day for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who first
attended a reception at Kensington Palace for RAF families. On
Wednesday, they will fly to Cyprus to continue the festive
celebrations with more RAF members there.
