Princess Beatrice gives birth prematurely to a baby girl

Princess Beatrice and her husband have welcomed their new baby.

Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have a second daughter. She was born on January 22nd 2025 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The new royal baby is called Athena Elizabeth Rose.

Her parents said their daughter had arrived early but is doing well.

The newest member of the Royal Family weighed 4lbs and 5 ounces at birth.

Buckingham Palace said King Charles and Queen Camilla were delighted at the safe arrival of their new great niece.

The baby is a sister for Sienna, now 2, and for Christopher Wolf, Edoardo’s son from a previous marriage.

Athena Mapelli Mozzi is eleventh in line to the throne.
