Prince Louis will not attend the royal wedding but Prince Philip is hoping to

Prince Louis of Cambridge will not be attending the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a couple of weeks time.

However, the Duke of Edinburgh is hoping that he will be well enough to attend the ceremony despite recovering from a full hip replacement surgery.

Prince Louis, who is only a couple of weeks old, will stay at Kensington Palace instead of attending the wedding.

It is unlikely we will see him in public again until his christening.

The 96-year-old Duke of Edinburgh underwent a successful hip replacement operation last month and there were questions over whether he would be fit enough to attend the wedding of his grandson.

However, The Queen’s husband is determined to attend and will spend time with Meghan Markle’s family the week before the ceremony.

Meghan’s parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle, will be arriving in the UK next week and will spend time with The Royal Family before the big day.
