Man arrested after scaling wall at Royal Mews close to Buckingham Palace

Police have arrested a man close to Buckingham Palace.

Around 1.25am on September 16th 2023, officers were called when a man was seen climbing the wall and entering the Royal Mews.

The person did not enter Buckingham Palace or its gardens.

A 25 year old has been detained by officers from the Metropolitan Police under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site.
