Lady Louise makes poignant return to the horse show where she made her grandmother so proud

Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor has been keeping up a very special family tradition as she attended in the Royal Windsor Horse Show alongside her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

It was at the very same show in 2022 where she competed in a carriage riding competition, with her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II beaming with pride as she watched on from the Royal Box.

The 20-year-old royal wasn’t competing at the event this year. Instead, she was hard at work helping the event organisers.

The 16th-in-line to the throne donned a high vis jacket, with a badge naming her as an ‘official’.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show has always been an event close to Lady Louise’s heart.

The young royal learned carriage driving from her grandfather, Prince Philip, and went on to compete at the show in the year of the late monarch’s Platinum Jubilee.
