King Charles and Queen Camilla lead The Royal Family to Church on Christmas morning

King Charles and Queen Camilla led members of The Royal Family to Church on Christmas morning.

This is the first time the family has celebrated Christmas without being in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II, and the first time they have had a large gathering at Sandringham since December 2019.

For the first time, Their Majesties led The Royal Family on foot to St Mary Magdalene Church to worship.

They were followed by the Prince & Princess of Wales and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Duke of York followed behind, alongside his two daughters – Princess Beatrice & Princess Eugenie.

Other members of the family also attended, some of them by car.

Each Christmas, the royals gather at church before heading back to Sandringham House for Christmas Dinner.

They they turn on the TV to watch the monarch’s Christmas broadcast – this year, the responsibility of King Charles for the first time.
