King Charles to welcome President of South Korea on State Visit

The President of South Korea will make a State Visit to the United Kingdom.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host the State Visit in November 2023.

It will be the second incoming State Visit of The King’s reign. The first was in the autumn of 2022 when Their Majesties hosted the President of South Africa. Cyril Ramaphosa.

The exact dates of the visit of President Yoon Suk Yeol and Mrs Kim Keon Hee haven’t been announced although the end of the month may be more likely as the Dutch Royal House has just announced that King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima will welcome the couple to the Netherlands for a State Visit there in December.

The King and President Yoon Suk Yeol met at the reception for Heads of State which was held at Buckingham Palace on September 18th 2022 as world leaders gathered to pay their respects at the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
