The Royal Family is urging the public to stay home this weekend, stating the best way to watch the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral is on television. If you’re unsure where to find coverage of the funeral, which will be held at 3 p.m. BST on Saturday, 17 April, here’s a breakdown by country.

Worldwide

The Royal Family YouTube channel will be live streaming the funeral from approximately 2:30 p.m. BST (9:30 a.m. EST/6:30 a.m. PST).

United Kingdom

BBC One will broadcast Saturday’s funeral with Huw Edwards leading the coverage from 12:30-16:20 p.m. BST, and the service also will be aired again later in the day from 20:10-21:10. In addition, the service will be aired from 14:00-16:10 on Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live, BBC World Service English, BBC Radio Scotland, and BBC Radio Ulster. Listeners also can tune in to BBC Radio Wales and BBC local radio, with some slight variation in start times.

ITV will air a three-hour broadcast, “Prince Philip – a Royal Funeral,” hosted by Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham from 1:15 p.m. BST on Saturday. Sky also will be broadcasting the funeral with Dermot Murnaghan covering the event from 14:40 to 16:00.

United States

NBC News will air the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral for American viewers starting at 9:30 a.m. EST and also will feature the programming on their streaming service, NBC News Now. Fox News, CNN and MSNBC will all begin coverage at 9 a.m. EST.

Also, BBC World News will broadcast the Huw Edwards coverage of the funeral from 7:30 a.m. EST.

Canada

Canadian royal watchers can tune in to CTV with live coverage of the event starting at 8 a.m. EST. Adrienne Arsenault will host CBC’s coverage, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 1:30 EST.

Australia

In Australia, 9News will feature a special called “The Funeral of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh” from 11 p.m AEST on Channel 9 and 9Now. Australian viewers also can watch Channel 7 from 9:30 p.m. local time, or tune into a live stream at 7NEWS.com.au. ABC also confirmed they will broadcast the funeral, as well as Channel 10.

The Netherlands

National public broadcasting station NPO 1 will be covering the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in The Netherlands from 15:30 – 17:00 local time.

Belgium

VTM will broadcast the funeral on Saturday in Belgium; check local listings for times.

France

TF1 and France 2 will broadcast the funeral along with their respective news channels, LCI and FranceInfo. The channels will begin coverage at 15:05 local time.

Norway

The funeral will be broadcast live on NRK and TV2 in Norway from 15:00 to 18:00 local time. It will also be broadcasted live on TV2’s news channel, which will have Prince Philip as its main theme throughout Saturday.

Germany

In Germany, the funeral will be covered by ZDF from 15:10 – 17:08 local time. RTL will broadcast the event from 14:00 to 17:45, along with documentaries about The Queen and Prince William starting at noon.

Denmark

DR1 will air Prince Philip’s funeral from 14:30 to 17:30 CET, and viewers can tune in before the ceremony for two memorial documentaries starting at 12.30 local time.

Sweden

Svtplay.se will air the funeral live in Sweden. Check your local listings for times.

Romania

In Romania, TVR1 will air the funeral from 4:30 pm – 6 pm local time.

Finland

The Finnish can watch the funeral on YLE TV1 beginning at 4:25 pm local time.
