Elizabeth Hurley and The Queen have the same…stalker?

You never know what commonalities you’ll find between celebrities and royalty. For actress Elizabeth Hurley, she says herself and The Queen share the same stalker.

Hurley revealed the information on Monday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. The topic came up when a caller asked the 54-year-old about her craziest fan interaction.

“In the office in London, we have a file called ‘nutters.’ And every time, well, particular people send letters- they still send, you know, mail – they have to go into the nutter file. There’s one nutter who – I don’t even know if I’m allowed to say this – but he only stalks two people: I’m one of them and the other is the Queen of England.”

Hurley then went on to add that she and Her Majesty are notified by Scotland Yard every time this person changes locations.

“I probably shouldn’t be saying any of this on TV,” Hurley added, “Take it all back!”

While one might wonder if there are any commonalities between the two English women, besides their first names, Hurley has tried her hand at royalty before. The actress played Queen Helena on E!’s The Royals for a number of years.

The hour-long drama followed a modern-day royal family into the imagined world of the most-watched celebrity family on the planet going through all the hurdles one might find in life such as finding love, conspiring against one another and being forced to acknowledge long-hidden secrets.

The series was cancelled after it’s fourth season. The series ran from 2015 to 2018.
