Christmas Day Fashion Through the Years: Sarah, Duchess of York

Sarah, Duchess of York and Princess Beatrice

While her time in the Royal Family was short, Sarah, Duchess of York made a fashion impact as a member of the extended British Royal Family. Married to Prince Andrew from 1986 to 1996, the couple had two children, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

In this article, Royal Central is taking a look at Sarah’s Christmas Day fashion.

Sarah is seen at a Christmas Day service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family, in the mid 20th century, attended Sandringham for the holidays, but when The Queen had her children, Christmas was moved to the Windsor grounds.

After 1987, the Christmas Day service was moved back to Sandringham where it has been since.
