Prince William is “still working” on deciding the name of his new baby

The Duke of Cambridge has revealed that he is “still working” on choosing a name for the new royal baby.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the couple’s third child on Monday, but three days on, we are still none-the-wiser as to what the baby’s name will be.

When asked by a reporter what the baby’s name is, Prince William replied: “I’m still working on that.”

The Duke made the comments on Thursday evening as he made an unannounced appearance alongside his brother, Prince Harry, to open a sports centre in Marylebone.

The Duchess of Cambridge went into labour in the early morning hours and was admitted into the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hosptial on St George’s Day before 6 am. Kensington Palace announced around 8:30am this morning that Her Royal Highness had been admitted to hospital with the Duke of Cambridge at her side.

A few hours later at 11:01, the Duchess gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 8lbs 7oz. It is unknown when the Prince’s name will be announced.
