Seventy days until 70 years – time to start the Platinum Jubilee countdown

The Platinum Jubilee is set to be one of the major events of 2022 and a stand out moment in royal history. The Queen reaches the 70th anniversary of her reign on February 6th 2022. As of November 28th 2021, that landmark is just 70 days away.

And 70 days away from a celebration of 70 years is when Royal Central unveils its special Platinum Jubilee page and social media.

You’ll still find all the Jubilee details and news on our main site but we now also have a dedicated Jubilee microsite where we’ll add all those stories so you can find them in one, handy place. There will also be special features and series to keep you up to date with the build up to this historic moment.

As well as news, you’ll find the story of her reign told in pictures, features all about the history of her Jubilees and other royal milestones as well as tips to help you make sure your Jubilee party is one to remember, too.

We’ve also got dedicated social media focused on all things Jubilee. You can follow our special Twitter account @Platinum2022 and the first of our special Instagram pages will launch in the coming days.

Don’t forget, our special focused Jubilee microsite is at royalcentral.co.uk/jubilee. We hope you can join us for this special countdown to a very special royal event.
