The Princess of Wales carries out first engagement after completing chemotherapy

The Princess of Wales has already returned to work with a quiet engagement at Windsor on Tuesday.

The Princess of Wales was listed in the Court Circular with the following entry: ”The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.

This comes very quickly after The Princess shared a video message on social media last week where she updated the public on her health issues. In the video, she shared that she had completed all of her chemotherapy treatments and that “Doing what [she] can to stay cancer free is now [her] focus”.

The video shared several clips of The Prince and Princess of Wales, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Shot in Norfolk, it showed the family spending time on the beach and in the forest in a more casual setting. Catherine’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, were also included in the video message.

The Princess also shared that she had hoped to be back doing a small number of engagements in the autumn.

This is a quick return but her workload will most likely remain lighter for the remainder of 2024, as the family shared.
