Sweden’s royal family together for special celebration

The Swedish Royal Family spent Sunday together at Solliden celebrating Crown Princess Victoria’s 47th birthday.

Crowds gathered at Soliden to see the Crown Princess on her special day.

The Crown Princess walked along the waiting crowds to greet visitors and to chat with people. King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip and his family, and Princess Madeleine and her family joined Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar.

The Swedish Royal Court released two family photos to celebrate the day.  One photo was of the Crown Princess, her husband, and children, while the other was the entire Swedish Royal Family.

The family chose to stick with the summer theme for their attire. Crown Princess Victoria chose a white, blue, and pink floral day dress from Saloni while Princess Estelle wore a white, yellow, and pink floral short-sleeved dress from ByTiMo.

Princess Madeleine and both of her daughters, Princess Leonore and Princess Adrienne, were also in floral dresses. Queen Silvia chose a white and light pink tweed Weill suit for the day.

Victoriadagen, or Victoria Day as it is called in Sweden, is the official celebration for Crown Princess Victoria’s birthday, held each July. It is typically held at Solliden, the Swedish Royal Family’s summer residence.
