Princess Anne makes Christmas visit to troops

The Princess Royal has paid a pre Christmas visit to troops with a global remit.

Princess Anne popped in to see members of the Royal Logistics Corps at their barracks in Gloucestershire.

The Princess spent time with 29 Regiment RLC in South Cerney.

They gave her an overview of their work which includes ensuring that personnel and equipment are delivered safely anywhere they are needed in the world.

During her time at the barracks, the Princess Royal met members of the regiment who told her about their experiences on global deployments.

There was also a chance to see some of the kit being prepared to be sent to support Ukrainian soldiers.

Princess Anne also toured the warehouse to see other resources being prepared.

The Princess Royal has continued her packed diary in the run up to Christmas and is expected to top the charts, again, when the annual tally of royal engagements for 2024 is released ahead of the New Year.
