Prince Louis went full little brother during commemorations for the 80th anniversary of VE Day and raised plenty of smiles while he was at it although not from Prince George.
Prince Louis caught sight of big brother, George, flicking his hair back into place as the two took their seats for a special military parade and the younger royal just had to go there.
Louis, who turned seven last week, threw his own head back dramatically as he stroked his fringe away from his forehead in imitation of his brother’s little moment of preening.
George, 11, looked about as impressed as Queen Victoria on a good day and replied with a stony stare that went just past his little brother’s head.
Their dad, Prince William, did what pretty much all parents do in that situation and carried on with his conversation in the hope that nothing more would come of this brotherly bit of bother.
He made the right call as George slowly released Louis from that stony gaze and the younger prince pretended nothing had happened at all.
They settled down to watch the parade which marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
King Charles took the salute at the parade which wound its way from Whitehall to the front of Buckingham Palace.
The Royal Family watched from a special podium built around the Victoria Memorial at the Palace. They were joined in the front row by WW2 veterans for the commemoration.
King Charles and Queen Camilla later led the royals on to the balcony for a flypast to mark VE Day 80.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh joined them along with Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence. The Duke of Kent was also present.
In the afternoon, Prince George was with his parents and King Charles and Queen Camilla for a special tea party for the veterans inside Buckingham Palace.
He was heard chatting happily and asking lots of questions. Prince Louis was back home, working out how to annoy his big brother again.
