Happy baby news for the royal family of Monaco and it’s a girl

Beatrice Borromeo and her husband, Pierre Casiraghi, walk hand in hand at a wedding where they joined royal relatives from Monaco

Monaco’s royals are celebrating after their family grew with the arrival of a baby girl.

Beatrice Borromeo, daughter in law of Princess Caroline, has given birth to a daughter.

And the latest member of the extended Grimaldi clan has been named in honour of her grandmother.

Bianca Carolina Marta Casiraghi was born on October 13 2025.

She’s a great niece of Monaco’s ruler, Prince Albert II, and his wife, Princess Charlene, and a great granddaughter of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III.

Beatrice, 40, and her husband, Pierre Casiraghi, 38, already have two sons, eight year old Stefano, and Francesco, who is seven.

Their daughter is also an eighth grandchild for Princess Caroline.

Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi have just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. They married in a civil ceremony in Monaco on July 25 2015 and in a religious ceremony on August 1 2015.

Baby Bianca is eleventh in line to the throne of Monaco, behind her father and brothers. First in line is Albert and Charlene’s only son, Prince Jacques, who will be eleven in December. His twin sister, Princess Gabriella, is second in line with Princess Caroline third.
