
The funeral procession for King Harald is underway, with King Haakon leading the members of his family, foreign royals and other government and world leaders to Oslo Cathedral.
At noon, King Harald’s funeral bier left the Royal Palace for the final time, with His Majesty The King’s Guard at the helm. King Harald is being transported on a Mercedes Geländewagen according to Norwegian media.
King Haakon, Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus, and Princess Märtha Louise follow King Harald’s bier by foot, while behind them, Queen Sonja and Queen Mette-Marit follow by car. Princess Astrid is also attending her brother’s funeral.

Members of foreign royal houses are also in the procession, with the Swedish Royal Family directly behind Queen Sonja and Queen Mette-Marit’s car.
The Norwegian government, other leaders, and heads of state are also walking, with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy given a moment of camera focus.
King Harald’s funeral begins at 1:00 pm at Oslo Cathedral, led by Bishop Olav Fykse Tveit. There will be a moment of silence as the late king’s funeral begins. Following the public funeral, a private ceremony for the Norwegian Royal Family and royal guests will take place at Akershus Castle Church before King Harald’s bier will be returned to the Royal Palace for burial in the crypt.
