His Majesty was glimpsed briefly as he was driven the short distance from Clarence House to Buckingham Palace less than 24 hours after it was revealed he has been diagnosed.

Queen Camilla was at his side.

Earlier in the day, Prince Harry visited his father at Clarence House after arriving in London from California.

Buckingham Palace announced The King is being treated for cancer on February 5th 2024.

The statement said that the diagnosis was made when issues arose during his treatment for a benign prostate condition last week. During that process, other matters needing investigation were found and the diagnosis followed that.

His Majesty is now undergoing a schedule of treatment. During that time, his doctors have advised he step aside from public engagements. However, His Majesty will continue with matters of state and private meetings.
