The ballot is now open for those hoping to get tickets to attend this year’s Trooping the Colour.

The King is expected to take the salute at the annual parade which takes place on June 15th 2024.

The British Army website has now opened up the ballot for attendance. Demand is usually high. Applicants can ask for up to four tickets with each costing £30.

The ballot is open until March 24th 2024 and you can find it here.

Tickets are also now on sale for the Major General’s Review on June 1st 2024 and the Colonel’s Review on June 8th 2024.

This year, the Irish Guards are trooping their colour and their colonel, the Princess of Wales, is set to take the review on June 8th. Kensington Palace is yet to confirm her attendance.

It’s the first possible engagement announced for Catherine since major abdominal surgery in January. Information about tickets for the Colonel’s Review can be found here.

Trooping the Colour is the annual celebration of the King’s official birthday. There has been an annual Sovereign’s Birthday Parade since the reign of King George III. The event started in the reign of King Charles II.
