Belgium’s future queen celebrated a major milestone when she attended her graduation ceremony at Oxford University.
Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant, officially marked her Oxford graduation on July 23rd 2024. She was joined by her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, and two of her siblings, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleonore. Prince Gabriel, her other brother, was not there.

Elisabeth read history and politics at Lincoln College and began her degree in autumn 2021. According to the Belgian Royal Palace, “The princess loved studying in Oxford and had a wonderful time in Lincoln College”.
She also did not spend all of her time studying and took part in different extracurriculars, including rowing for Lincoln College.

On top of her achievement of being admitted to Harvard University, Princess Elisabeth was also chosen for an Honorary Award from the Fulbright Program, a US state program that funds international exchanges.
